Matthew 24:14

Matthew 24:14 (ESV): “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

It has been estimated that nearly 40% of the world’s population is unreached by the Gospel, meaning they live in communities without a sufficient number of indigenous Christians or the resources necessary to evangelize their own people. One of the signs of the times is that the Gospel will be preached throughout the whole world, and then the end will come.

Jesus gave His disciples several general signs by which to discern the times related to His Second Coming and the end of the age. These include the rise of false christs, wars and rumors of wars, ethnic conflict, earthquakes, and famines. These signs will increase in frequency and intensity as the end draws near. He also stated that the Gospel would be proclaimed throughout the whole world, and then the end would come.

Are you doing your part to proclaim the glorious Gospel to the ends of the earth? We have been commissioned to make disciples. During the Tribulation Period, 144,000 Jewish witnesses will proclaim the Gospel, along with an angelic messenger (Revelation 14:6). While that day is still future, we have a present calling to proclaim the saving power of Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection. May we declare it boldly as we await His soon return!

Father, fill us to overflowing with courage and boldness to proclaim the Good News. The signs are all around us, and time is short. May we urgently proclaim Your grace to those around us. We pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.
