Psalm 19:1-2

Psalm 19:1–2 (ESV): “1 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. 2  Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.”

The wonders of our God are on display in His marvelous handiwork. Creation tells the story of who our God is. It also declares His existence and displays His attributes. His fingerprints are everywhere!

As David looked around at creation, he marveled before God. As he gazed upward at the firmament, he was reminded of the vastness of our God. The millions of stars that God spoke into existence shone brightly as a testament to His might and power. The sun rising and setting daily spoke to David of the faithfulness of God. David was in awe of his Creator.

When you look around at creation, what do you see? If you have ever stood at the base of a towering mountain, then you have seen the majesty of God. Or if you have looked up at the sky and watched the stars, you have seen His handiwork. The faithfulness of God is represented in the consistency of the sun rising and setting. If you are looking for evidence that God exists today, just look around. Creation speaks of its Creator. His attributes are also clearly seen. May this cause you to stand in awe of Him today. Take a moment and look around. It will blow your mind!

Father, we thank You for being our Creator God. We stand in awe of You. Speak to us through Your creation, Lord, and remind us of who You are. We pray in Jesus’ name, amen.
