21 Days of Prayer and Fasting - Day 14

DAY 14 - OUTREACH

“7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

– Isaiah 52:7 –

Feet are not often thought of as being beautiful. Most of the time they are thought of as being dirty, stinky, and full of toe jam. Isaiah isn’t writing about feet models here but the church who are carriers of the good news of the Gospel into the world! We are to be going as the body of Christ to any and all who will listen. Paul wrote in Romans 10:14-17, “14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” This is the call of the Body of Christ.

Pray for clear vision regarding our outreach efforts as a body. Pray that God will not only give us opportunity, but that our body would join in and be those beautiful feet to the community of Columbia. Pray for the Overflowing Cup as we reach out daily to those in our community that God would bless and make His Son known to all who come in! Pray for our livestream, radio, and online media to touch all those who God would desire to reach, and that we would not pump life into things that God is allowing to die. Our God reigns, and may the entire world know it.
