Daniel 2:10-11 (ESV): “10 The Chaldeans answered the king and said, “There is not a man on earth who can meet the king’s demand, for no great and powerful king has asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or Chaldean. 11 The thing that the king asks is difficult, and no one can show it to the king except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.”
When the world says there is no hope, they mean within themselves. But with God, there is always hope. He is the Way Maker and the God of the impossible. Look to Him, and you will find hope.
Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that greatly disturbed him. He called for his wise men to interpret it but demanded that they first tell him what the dream was. The wise men were at a loss—they knew they could not do this. In fact, they admitted that no man was able, and they were right. So the king ordered all the wise men to be killed, but Daniel requested that the king give him time to reveal the dream. Daniel and his companions prayed, and God gave him both the dream and its interpretation. No man is able—but God!
Are you stuck in a seemingly hopeless situation? Never fear, for God is able. Seek His face and watch Him work wonders. The help you seek might not come in the way you expect, but He will answer you. Get your eyes off the impossible and onto the God who is able. He is the only way and the source of all hope. Look to Jesus today, my friend. Just as He helped Daniel when his life was on the line, so too will He help you. Amen?
Father, we thank You that nothing is impossible for You. Remind us daily of this truth so that we might cast all our cares upon You. We pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.
