Calvary Chapel Columbia respects your privacy. This page explains what information this website collects, why, and who it is shared with. It covers this website only, not anything you do in person at the church.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form. If you send a message through our contact form, submit a prayer request, or sign up for email updates, we receive what you entered: typically your name, your email address, and your message. Nothing else on this site asks you for personal information.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the people described below.

How form messages reach us

Forms on this site are delivered by a service operated by our website provider, Versify Interactive, which passes your message on to the church office by email. It is a delivery step, not a database: your message is forwarded, and the church holds it in its own email.

Prayer requests are handled by our pastoral team. Please use your judgement about what you include in writing. If a matter is sensitive, we would rather you called the office on 931.922.6308 or spoke to a pastor in person.

Email updates

If you sign up for weekly updates, we use your email address to send you news about messages, events, and church family life. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time by writing to [email protected].

Other services this site uses

Some parts of this site are provided by other companies, each with its own privacy policy.

• Planning Center and Church Center. Our events calendar, Connect Groups, and volunteer and connect forms are run in Planning Center. Following those links takes you to Church Center, where Planning Center's privacy policy applies.
• YouTube. Sermon videos are embedded from our YouTube channel. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which means YouTube does not set advertising cookies unless you play a video.
• Google Maps. The map on our location page is embedded from Google.
• Aplos. Online giving is handled entirely by Aplos on their own site. We never see or store your card or bank details.
• Cloudflare. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server records such as IP addresses for security and reliability.

Website analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful, in aggregate. It tells us things like how many people read a sermon page; it does not tell us who you are. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on, and most browsers let you send a "Do Not Track" signal or block analytics cookies entirely.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this site. Registration for our children's and youth ministries is handled by a parent or guardian through Planning Center, not here. If you believe a child has sent us information through this website, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] or call 931.922.6308 and we will help. There is no account to manage on this website, so in most cases the only thing we hold is an email you sent us.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
