Ezekiel 37:4-6

Ezekiel 37:4-6 (ESV): “4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. 6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the Lord.””

Who can bring the dead to life? Only God can. It doesn’t matter what we face in life—God is able. So, put your faith in who He is and watch Him work.

Ezekiel was given a vision of a valley filled with dry bones. The dead represented the nation of Israel. They had not received a proper burial, which was considered incredibly shameful in Judaism. Nevertheless, God would raise them back to life. He would breathe His Spirit into them and bring them up from the grave. They would become a new nation, full of life—not dead religion. Only God can do a work like this. What He promises to do, He will do. Amen?

If God can raise the dead, don’t you think He can handle your problems? You don’t have to face adversity alone, friend. You have the Creator God who is also your Father if you are in Christ.  He’s on your side. You have life, and that more abundantly, through Jesus! So why fret over your circumstances? If you are born again, you’re going to heaven. The enemy can’t take what you have. Stand firm in your faith and watch the God of miracles accomplish His purpose through your trial. Amen?

Father, we thank You that nothing can separate us from Your love. No tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, or sword can separate us—for we are more than conquerors through You. We rest in Your unwavering love, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
