Daniel 10:12-14 (ESV): “12 Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. 13 The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia, 14 and came to make you understand what is to happen to your people in the latter days. For the vision is for days yet to come.”
There is a spiritual battle taking place in the unseen realm (Eph. 6:12). The Lord will not allow His Word to be hindered for those who are genuinely seeking the truth!
After receiving the Seventy-Week Prophecy, Daniel was deeply troubled. He fasted and prayed for understanding for twenty-one days. An angel was sent to him the very day he began to fast, but he was hindered by the demonic prince of Persia. Michael came and helped the messenger overcome those demonic forces. The angel then told Daniel that the vision he had seen was for the latter days. With that, Daniel was strengthened and encouraged.
Did you know that those who diligently seek God are met by Him? The demonic realm is fearful of your seeking. They can only hinder the messenger God is sending if you stop seeking. But if you remain persistent, God will answer you just as He answered Daniel. All Christians should fast and pray with persistence. God will indeed answer those who diligently seek Him. Amen?
Father, we thank You for answering our prayers. You alone are worthy of our seeking. Help us to seek You wholeheartedly and persistently, we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
