Deuteronomy 34:10-12

Writer: Tim RomeroTim Romero

Deuteronomy 34:10–12 (ESV): 10 And there has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, 11 none like him for all the signs and the wonders that the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to all his land, 12 and for all the mighty power and all the great deeds of terror that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.

The Lord chooses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. He calls the weak and the lowly to represent Himself so that no human being can boast. God can use anyone willing to be used!

As the life of Moses comes to an end a declaration is made about his greatness. He was used so powerfully by God that not another prophet in the land could match his works. It wasn't because Moses was great but because he was humble. He knew the source of his wisdom and power. It was the Lord. Moses met with God face to face meaning he had an unhindered relationship with God. At the close of his life, he is considered the greatest prophet to ever live. What marvelous things the Lord can do through a willing vessel.

Have you ever considered that the Lord could use you to accomplish His purposes? You might think, “Me?” Understand, He doesn't need much to work with. All He needs is a willing person who will walk per His instruction. Moses didn't do it perfectly and neither will you. Make yourself available to the Lord and watch and see Him do great things. If you want to be used by God, avail yourself by saying, “Here am I Lord, send me.” Amen?

Father, thank You for calling us to be Your representatives in these last days. What a privilege it is to stand in this world on Your behalf. Take me now Lord! Use me as You see fit, I pray in Jesus’ mighty name, amen and amen.
