Judges 16:17

Judges 16:17 (ESV): 17 And he told her all his heart, and said to her, “A razor has never come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If my head is shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man.”

The enemy knows how to press us into sin. Beware of his trickery lest you fall into the snare he has set for you.

Samson was born under a Nazarite vow. The secret to his strength was in this vow. His hair was simply a symbol of this vow. Samson’s demise came through his greatest weakness, a woman. Delilah pressed Samson on behalf of the Philistines so they could so they could bind him, blind him, and belittle him. He stumbled because he didn't keep his heart with all diligence.

Did you know the enemy knows how to press

you as well? He knows where you struggle and that is where he will tempt you. It's important to guard your heart for out it springs the issues of life. Keep the Lord first in your life and make yourself accountable to others lest you end up like Samson. Victory over the enemy is yours in Christ! Amen?

Father, thank You for giving us victory over every struggle. May we keep our hearts with all diligence and live in the strength and power of Your Spirit we pray in Jesus' name, amen.
